Links are arranged by subject. Pretty easy, eh? :) Furthermore, if
you'd like to see a topic that isn't covered here, mail me
(skyblade@interserv.com) and
I'll see if I can find a site that does cover it. Or if you have your
own educational site, mail me with the address and I'll take a look. If I
think the site is appropriate, I'll list it here.
SCIENCE
- The Butterfly Garden
- The Butterfly Garden provides facts on butterflies, as well as butterfly
poetry and a forum for butterfly questions.
- Mr. Delfs' Science Resource Page
- This guy puts Bill Nye to shame, check it out! Great links to info on a
variety of scientific fields. Unfortunately, last I checked, some of the
links were down, but still a good resource.
- Kids' Planet
- More neat links to Science Stuph. What makes this page so interesting
is that a couple of kids put it together. Way to go. :)
- The Science of Hockey
- One of my hockey fan friends stumbled across this page. Great for
those kids who love hockey, or for anybody who loves sports.
ENGLISH AND LITERATURE
- CyberEnglish
- This is the website of a high school English teacher who teaches
students from the Navajo and Hopi tribes. Great resources and links,
especially for Native American literature.
- The Story Palace
- Filled with fables and inspirational stories. Also highlights the
values and morals found in each.
MATH
- The Math Oracle
- Lets you practice your Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus skills. Needless
to say, this is for older students.
ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS
- Tomb of the Chihuahua Pharoahs
- Not to play favorites, but I love this site! Has a great
discussion on mummification and provides lots of nifty Egyptian graphics.
FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND CULTURES
- Beginning French and French Culture
- Magnifique! Ooh La La! Not only do you get to learn some French, you
get to learn about French geography, food, and customs.
